Why buy coffee beans online from us
When you buy coffee beans online from a supermarket shelf, you have no idea how long they have been sitting there. Ours are roasted in small batches in Cape Town and go out on the next roast day after you order — so what arrives is days old, not months.
We are a two-person roastery in Bloubergstrand. The people who roast your coffee are the people who answer the phone.
What we roast
Brazilian — Cerrado. Our house coffee and the bag most people come back for. Medium roast: chocolate, roasted almond and a marzipan finish, with enough body to hold its own in milk. 400g and 1kg.
Decaffeinated Colombian. Sugarcane process, which is why it still tastes like coffee rather than a compromise. Cocoa and toffee, clean and round. Decaffeinated is not caffeine-free — a small amount remains in every cup.
Compostable capsules. The same coffee, in a capsule that fits Nespresso®-compatible machines. Ten to a box, from R79.
Choose your grind
We grind to order, so tell us what you are brewing on and we set it before it ships — espresso, filter, plunger or moka pot. If you own a grinder, order whole bean. It is always the better cup.

If you are pouring coffee every day — a restaurant, an office, a guesthouse — that is our wholesale side, and the pricing works differently. We also hire out a mobile coffee bar for events around Cape Town.
