The same coffee, not a lesser one
These capsules hold the coffee we sell in the bags. A lot of capsule coffee is whatever was left over. Ours is not.
Compostable
The capsule composts. That is the reason these exist — capsules are the most convenient way to make coffee and historically the worst thing you could do with it.
Which machines these compostable coffee pods fit
Nespresso®-compatible original-line machines. The standard domestic ones.
Not the Vertuo system. That takes a different capsule shape.
Unsure which you have? Look at the capsule you use now. Original-line capsules are small and cone-shaped. Vertuo ones are wide and domed.
How many to order
Ten to a box. Two cups a day is roughly a box a work week.
Most households order three or four boxes at a time and save on the courier.
Keeping them
Cool cupboard, out of the sun, and out of the fridge. A capsule protects the coffee well, but heat still ages it.

About the word compostable
The capsule breaks down rather than sitting in landfill for a few hundred years. That is the entire reason we sell capsules at all.
We will not dress it up beyond that. A compostable capsule beats an aluminium one. It is not a solution to anything on its own.
The most environmentally sound cup of coffee is still one made from beans you ground yourself. These are for the mornings when that is not going to happen.
Prefer to grind your own? The same coffee comes as beans.
