The Galley
Some venues a trailer simply cannot reach. A hall, a boardroom, a church, a first floor, a lawn nobody is driving a vehicle onto.
So we bring the bar instead. We call it The Galley — the same espresso machine, the same grinders, the same baristas, the same beans, set up on your table or on ours.

What it costs
Our starting price is R6 500 — the same as the trailer. That covers two baristas, 100 cups of hot drinks, and the set-up and take-down.
Beyond that it depends on your numbers. Tell us how many people and how long you need us, and we will come back with a price for your event.
What you get
A full espresso bar, run by baristas, for as long as you need it. Americanos, cappuccinos, flat whites, lattes — made properly, one at a time, the way they would be in a good café.
We roast the coffee ourselves, so what is in the cup at your event is the same coffee we sell by the bag.
We can also do iced coffee, craft sodas and takeaway cups, and there is a cookie option if you want something alongside. If you want something we have not listed, ask — we will entertain any request.
Power and set-up
We bring everything, and we do not need anything from you to operate. The Galley runs off our own battery and gas, exactly like the trailer does.
If there is a wall plug near where you want us pouring we will happily use it — but we do not need one. Tell us either way when you book.
We can set up on a table you already have, or bring our own. Either is fine.
Where it goes
Indoors, upstairs, in a marquee, in an office — anywhere we can carry the kit. We are based in Bloubergstrand and we cover Cape Town.
If you are outside Cape Town, or a long way out, just ask and we will quote you on the travel as part of the price.
The Galley or the trailer?
It is not about price and it is not about power — both run off our own supply and both start at R6 500. It is about where your venue lets us set up.
The trailer if you are outdoors and have the space for it.
The Galley if the trailer cannot get there, or you simply want us inside with your guests.
Same coffee, same baristas either way. Not sure which suits your space? Send us a photo of it and we will tell you. You can see the trailer here.

How to book
There is no notice period. We are usually available at short notice — if we are already booked on your date, we will tell you straight away.
Message Heather on WhatsApp. It is usually a short conversation. Tell us:
- Your date, and roughly what time you would want us pouring
- Where it is, and whether we are setting up inside or out
- Roughly how many people
- Whether it is a few hours or a whole day

Not an event?
If you just want the coffee, we sell it by the bag and by the capsule — roasted to order and delivered countrywide.
And if you are a restaurant, office or guesthouse pouring coffee every day, that is our wholesale side.
