Coffee Machines, Brewing equipment and accessories…
We supply coffee machines, grinders, brewing equipment and accessories. For the kitchen counter at home, and for a commercial kitchen that pours all day.
Buying a machine is not really a shopping decision. It is a question of what you drink, how many of you there are, and how much fuss you are willing to put up with on a Monday morning. So ask us before you buy.
Espresso machines
We carry Sanremo, Brugnetti, Magister and Electra.
These are Italian-built machines. They are made for precision and for a heavier, fuller extraction. Brugnetti in particular brings café-quality espresso into a room that was never designed for it.
Grinders
Obel and Fiorenzato for grinding.
If you are choosing between spending on the machine or the grinder, spend on the grinder. A good grinder with an average machine beats the reverse every time. Grind consistency is most of what you taste.
Capsule systems
We supply Caffitaly systems where convenience matters more than ritual. An office kitchen, a guest room, a boardroom.
We also stock our own compostable capsules for Nespresso®-compatible machines, if that is the route you are on.
Bean to cup
Bean-to-cup machines grind, brew and froth on one button. Good where nobody wants to learn, and where the coffee still has to be decent.
They are the easiest of the coffee machines we sell to live with, and the hardest to get truly excellent coffee out of. That trade is usually worth it in an office.
Accessories
- Tampers
- Milk frothing pitchers
- Water filters
- Cleaning products
Water filters are the one people skip. Scale is what kills a machine, and in parts of Cape Town the water is hard enough to matter. Fit the filter.
Not sure which coffee machines suit you?
Tell us what you drink and how many cups a day. We will tell you what actually suits it — including when the cheaper option is the right one.
That conversation is free, and we would rather have it than sell you the wrong machine.
