Bespoke or made-to-order items will only be exchanged if faulty or damaged. We will happily exchange any non-bespoke.
We will gladly refund any purchase in the unlikely event that the item is damaged/faulty or not to a high quality standard.
If you are unhappy with any of the products bought from us, please notify us at info@traderoutecoffees.co.za immediately. We will require you to send the products back to us within 7 days of notifying us by email. Please ensure you obtain proof of posting/courier details and that all items are returned unused in their original packaging.
Once we have received the products back from you, we will gladly replace your purchase or, in the case of unavailability, refund your purchase and original delivery costs. If the original order goes missing en route, and you haven’t received your parcel within 1 month of the order, we will resend the item to you at no additional cost.
Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the product or products bought by consumers should be directed to info@traderoutecoffees.co.za.
Placing a product in a shopping basket without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale and/or an order for such product, and as such, Trade Route Coffees may remove such product from the shopping basket or if stock becomes unavailable. You cannot hold Trade Route Coffees liable if such product is not available when the purchase cycle is completed at a later stage.
An agreement of sale only comes into effect if and when (a) you electronically submit a properly completed order for one or more products in your shopping basket; and (b) payment is either authorised, or received by Trade Route Coffees in its bank account.
By Trade Route Coffees: Trade Route Coffees reserves the right, for purposes of preventing suspected fraud to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and/or to cancel any sale concluded between you and Trade Route Coffees, in whole or in part, on notice to you. Trade Route Coffees shall only be liable to refund products already paid by you (see Trade Route Coffees Refund Policy in this regard), and accepts no other liability, which may arise as a result of such refusal to process any order/sale.
By You: Save for certain exceptions and subject to certain charges, you are entitled to cancel any sale concluded on this Website within 7 days after date of receipt of the goods and to obtain a refund. You may also cancel a sale where delivery is delayed beyond the stipulated delivery date/timeframe (or where none is specified, beyond 30 days from the order date). Please read the Refund Policy for further details in this regard.
Identification of Trade Route Coffees products: Product listings which do not specify the name of a third party seller, are products offered for sale by Trade Route Coffees.
Stocks of all goods on offer are limited. Trade Route Coffees shall take all reasonable efforts to ensure that when stock is no longer available, that offers thereof are discontinued. However, should Trade Route Coffees be unable to fulfil any order placed by you at the advertised price due to stock having sold out, Trade Route Coffees will notify you and you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid by you for such product.
Subject to any exceptions expressly mentioned below, your payment for any products ordered from Trade Route Coffees must be made to us in any one of the following ways:
Credit card payments via YOCO
At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and payment is collected immediately. If the bank’s authorization is not obtained, the order will be cancelled. Trade Route Coffees may carry out certain fraud checks with the cardholder or the cardholder’s bank, should Trade Route Coffees be unable to verify the validity of the transaction the order will be cancelled.
Bank deposits & Electronic Funds Transfer ( EFT)
If you select to pay via this method, instructions will be given on how to deposit money into Trade Route Coffees bank account and it would be subject to the following rules:
• the exact amount must be paid;
• the payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer;
• funds need to clear in Trade Route Coffees account for orders to be shipped
• no transfers may be made from ATM’s;
• no cheque deposits
• no bank deposits are accepted from outside the borders of South Africa; and
• your order will be cancelled if you choose to pay by bank deposit and the amount due is not paid within 5 business days.
Payment Fees
No payment fees will incur for EFT transfers.
